ROQ Gear
Our own shop. ROQ Gear sells mechanical keyboards in South Africa — hall-effect, magnetic and wireless boards, stocked locally and shipped from Durban in 1–3 days. We built it, we run it, and every lesson it teaches us goes straight into the stores we build for clients.

Why we run our own shop
It’s easy to promise a client their store will convert. It’s another thing to stake your own stock on it. ROQ Gear is our proving ground — real products, real customers, real payments, real courier deadlines. When we say we know what makes an online store work, this is where we found out.
The build
A catalogue built for browsing — clean product cards, honest stock states, a featured rail that earns its space — inside a layout that stays out of the way: dark chrome, calm field, one ember accent doing all the pointing. Fast enough that the keyboards are the only thing you wait for.
First impression
Straight to the point of sale
No carousel, no fluff: the hero states what we sell, where the stock sits, and how fast it ships — with the featured board one click from checkout. Everything a buyer needs to trust a shop, above the fold.
Details worth noticing
Local stock, said plainly
Stocked in SA, shipped from Durban, 1–3 days — the promises buyers actually care about, front and centre.
Honest stock states
Out-of-stock is shown, not hidden — trust beats a prettier grid.
Catalogue built to browse
Consistent cards, real photography, prices without the hunt.
A dry run for your store
Payments, couriers, catalogue ops — problems we solved here so your build skips them.
